At Tree Beavers, we do not believe in a one size fits all fire mitigation approach. Traditional protocol will typically include 30' of clearance from the home perimeter, 8+' of spacing between tree crowns, removal of dead or low lying branches 10+' off the ground, and removal of all threatening ladder fuels. While we certainly agree with and often advise the implementation of the aforementioned standards, we are aware that in many cases this is simply impractical. It is for this reason that all of our assessments are conducted on an individual basis, taking into consideration not only the nature of your specific property, but also your personal preferences, needs, and desires.
